William Barak Bridge - Melbourne.

I captured this shot in the early hours of a very cold morning in September 2011. I wanted to capture the red glow coming from inside the elevator but was presented with a number of dilemmas, as the elevator doors would shut after a couple of seconds and return back to the ground floor. So i came up with a cunning plan of putting my camera on a timer and diving into the elevator. I set the timer on the camera to 10 seconds giving me enough time to sprint down, open the elevator, hide inside while holding the doors open for the 5 seconds it took to take the photo. It took me a few attempts to get it right but i was pretty happy with the result and the fact that there was no witnesses around, as im sure it would of raised a few eyebrows!!

Vinegar Skipping Girl - Victoria Street Abbotsford

The Skipping Girl, also known as Little Audrey, has been a much loved landmark of Melbourne for as long as i can remember. Always got excited when we would driving past her at night as kids. Little Augrey was switched off between 2002 to 2009. So it was great to see her restored and brought back to life.
